Focus on Unitron Hearing Aids

Friday, March 26th, 2010
Unitron hearing aids are among the industry leaders in assistive hearing loss technology.  We proudly offer a wide variety of products from this manufacturer, which is among one of the fastest-growing hearing aids manufacturers in the world.

Unitron Moxi & Unitron Moda II

The Unitron Moxi has a unique, innovative design consisting of two parts.  A tiny receiver is placed in the ear canal, which is connected to a case which hides behind the ear.  This design allows the Moxi to provide excellent hearing enhancement at an affordable price.  The Unitron Moda II has a similar design, and both products are designed to last for years.

Unitron Next

The Unitron Next series of hearing aids has several classes of product designed to fit your budgetary needs.  On the basic end is the Unitron Next E, which features two manual program settings which help users transition between different environments, thus customizing your listening experience.  On the other end of the spectrum is the Unitron Next 16, which boasts of a host of automatic programming modes which smoothly provide a more comfortable boost to the user’s hearing.
The Unitron Next 4 and Unitron Next 8 round out this series, The 4 features (you guessed it) four manual programs to customize your receptiveness to the environment around you, while the 8 includes a wind noise manager and a feedback management system.

Unitron Yuu

The Unitron Yuu is a fantastic open-fit hearing aid, which means it is nestled discreetly behind the ear.  This nearly invisible assistive device doesn’t spare any utility, however, marrying comfort with excellent augmentation.

About Siemens

In 1878, Werner von Siemens designed one of the first amplified hearing aids — a telephone handset with powerful amplification. This design was like nothing you’ll see at a hearing aid store today, but it gave way to another innovation by Siemens in 1913: the Phonophor hearing aid. This included a battery, microphone and receiver, and people carried it in a handbag when they weren’t using it. Just one year later, Siemens took that design to a new level and added a miniature receiver that sat close to the eardrum. Looking at this design, it’s easy to see how it gave way to modern Siemens hearing aids.
